A table for one. What a view. So simple, yet so powerful🙏🏻☺️ Many have asked me, who I'm travelling with on this trip. I've been with good friends and business relations the first week in Bangkok. But since sunday I've been in my own company here on Koh Samui and will continue to be so till saturday. I simply love spending time alone, experiencing what aloneness does to my senses, thoughts and feelings. I very often go travelling alone. Many ask if it's not boring or lonely, to me it's the opposite. It's revitalizing, funny and inspiring. I guess it's all about falling in love with yourself, being grateful for who you are, enjoying the source of love you'll find within your own heart, independent of others. When you start to fall in love with yourself, others will sense the light in your heart and you are thereby able to share something very beautiful with them. Self-appreciation and self-acceptance. By being the true you, you are serving others, spreading light and love around you. You are the world, and the world is you. And that's another wonder of travelling alone and loving it, you naturally meet so many new people, you open up to new impressions when there's no travelpartner to lean too. You get to discover the world thru the eyes of strangers, who quickly become new friends and sometimes even soulmates. The world is such a vast place and so rich on beauty, love and adventure, especially when we trust ourselves to experience it all, without caution and the safety of "having someone" on our side. By embracing yourself, you give yourself what you truly need, which is love and appreciation without judgement. When you do so others will do the same and loneliness becomes a rare feeling. So, now, at this table for one. I salute myself, I honor my aloneness, I celebrate my self-appreciation, grateful for the love and compassion I feel in my heart at this moment of beautiful unity with my own being. Knowing that in my soul, I'm connected with everyone out there. From me to all of you who read this. Go see the world alone once in a while. Go fall in love with yourself. It's an amazing journey. Now lunch is being served. Life is good. ❤️ S.
